Thread: This Month's Haul: August, 2015

  1. He did! They are a fine shoe. I wore my old pair of Chrome lowtop shoes out, I glued the soles back on and got months more out of 'em.

  2. Good stuff. I'm gonna scotch guard the shit out of them and use em as kitchen shoes.
    Boo, Hiss.

Really cool hidden in there from the old school notion of "you have X amount of points when Y happens", too!

Turning on the Arranged soundtrack for Special is rad as hell after playing 2 with the standard OST.

I enjoyed Fatal Fury 1 a whole lot, there's a lot of nice touches. The game kind of uses Geese to teach you how the counter mechanic works, prior to which it's just this useless button. Changes the game on a second playthrough! Then they ditch that mechanic entirely for the sequel.
Yeah I remember a lot of that from back in the day. Did you pick up the 2nd Archive Collection? Real Bout 2 was a hell of a lot of fun when I got into it. Rick Strowd was pretty much the Dudley of that series.

  4. I did! I'm going through them one game at a time. I should have the Art of Fighting anthology coming in soon as well, found a good disc-only copy on the cheap.

Neo games look damned good on that Sony tv!

Indeed they do. I got the AoF collection for like 5 bucks complete. You should track down Kof '98 Ultimate Match also for PS2.

    Or you could get this..

Yeller, drop me a PM if you want more SNK PS2 games. I have almost all of them and don't really need them. The only one that can't be pried loose is TSS.

Now pop in those Capcom collections that worked on your other set and tell me how they look by comparison!

Also, I really hate that I've been playing Fatal Fury as a favorite game on my Neo for the last few years, and in ONE FUCKING DAY you got better than me.

Well that sucks. What all SNK titles made it to U.S. Shores? I know KoF, Metal Slug, Fatal Fury and AoF..
