Thread: 2015 NFL Season Thread

  1. No idea.

  2. Going into this season they looked like a team that would get out scored 90-25 in two games. That's why week 1 was so weird.

Matt Cassel's career is built on idiots thinking that the QB has ever been what made the Patriots successful.

Exactly, so Romo being out shouldn't really hurt a juggernaut like the 2015 Dallas Cowboys

  5. Whew. Long day of Magic the Gathering pre-release weekend. But I'm back! Ahem...

Fly, Eagles fly, on the road to victory,
Fight Eagles fight, score a touchdown one-two-three.
    Hit 'em low
    Hit 'em high,
    And watch our Eagles fly.
Fly, Eagles fly, on the road to victory!
    E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!

    Totally different style of offense.

The 49'ers ran the West Coast offense for over a decade. Even Steve Bono looked good with that dink and dunk bs.

I feel your pain. It sucks when your team is pretty much done early in the season. My Brewers were done in April and it made this whole baseball season shit.

Screw that! I've been a member on this board from near the beginning.

It's true. Bono's career outside of San Francisco was pretty mediocre.
San Francisco had a great offensive system in place. The transition from Montana to Young to Garcia was almost seamless. Hell, even Seifert benefitted from the system that Walsh left behind. Seiferts coaching career after SF was very short lived.
