Brady in the fourth quarter of that Super Bowl was as flawless as a QB could be.

Obviously it's not a stretch to say the Broncos and Manning both embarrassed themselves the year prior. That game was over in 5 minutes.

  2. as long as we are being completely honest, half of the defense was injured or out by then. Avril went out (and he was killing it), Lane went out on that opening INT, Sherman was hurt, Thomas was hampered with a shoulder injury, Chancellor had an MCL tear and bone bruise (so basically we're talking 4 out of the 5 starting secondary, including the 3 best)

Not going to take all the credit away, but I think the 4th had as much to do with Brady as had to do with the mounting injuries.

Plus the 4th quarter wouldn't have mattered if Seattle had an offense.

Jim Kelly could have been flawless in the 4th quarter in January, 2003, and no one would remember.

  4. The NE defense was great in that game. Like I said earlier you need both to win.

Seattle did not take full advantage of those interceptions thrown by Brady earlier in the game. If they had put up more points off of those turnovers, that interception at the end might not have amounted to anything.

I believe the difference between Denver's game and New England's was the Pats had a pretty good defense, while Denver's was mediocre at best. Denver's defense is much better this year.

Denver's defense is great this year.

I just thought the Broncos were unprepared for that game, and shit the bed. I doubt even if they were prepared they would have won, but could have done a lot better.

Seattle was also a better team two years ago than they were last year. No Super Bowl team remains intact, especially with the bullshit cap. That's why it's impossible to repeat if you don't cheat.

Yeah! I believe that Dallas and Green Bay were better teams. Seattle got lucky against Green Bay, and Demarco's fumble killed Dallas.

Seattle matched up well against Green Bay for whatever reason. I agree that the Patriots' defense would have been completely exposed by Dallas or Green Bay. That makes this week's game even more irritating, because it would have been a degree of less meaningful proof if not for the injuries.

Goodell sure is good at doubling down on mistakes.
