So the Redskins QB debacle has now devolved into a race debate. There are people who actually think that Cousins is getting better treatment because he's white and RG3 was treated the way he was because he's black. Absolutely stupid. It's really simple: Cousins is a better NFL QB than RG3, and Cousins doesn't think he's the second coming of Brady, Manning, or Rodgers.

Cousins sucks just as bad as rg3. Look at the guys stats. He has like 500 less passes than RG3 and 20 more INTs.

Would the media in DC have blamed Kirk Cousins if the coach made him play hurt and then had his knee shredded? Would the media have killed Kirk had the next coach actively worked to derail his career and development and keep him off the field?
It's just that when RG3 started struggling (after, again, his knee got destroyed) I saw all the racist code words that always get applies to black athletes. He's arrogant. He's a prima Donna. He's selfish. He's lazy. Meanwhile Kirk got all the positive code words that apply to white athletes. He's scrappy. He works hard. Etc.
Sorry but I don't think the DC fanbase understands how bad RG3 was treated. I agree that the franchise is trash and this is what happens when good players go to trash teams. Still, the way everyone shit on this guy because he had the nerve to play hurt in a playoff game and then got even more hurt really bugged me.
Of course it's a settled issue now, RG3 is done and now DC will fly high with a guy who has 6 TDs and 8 INTs this year and 24/27 over his career. Good luck.
