So last night's Trek was probably the best episode of the new series so far. Still not awesome, and holy fuck the Klingons look godawful, but it was a step in the right direction.

Now that I'm seeing Hard Dick every week on The Deuce, network tv trying to be edgy with curse words seems quaint and silly.

I don't like them doing it. Disliked Harry Mudd. I would have been fine with the character with a different name.

So I watched it. Some of it is like...really good? Then some of it is really fucking cringeworthygodawful. It's a damn shame it's so uneven.

I can live with it if they fix the fucking klingons and stop fucking with established designs to the point they are unrecognizable.

Oh I don't know, the last ep was perhaps the most Star Trekish of the bunch. Nothing says Star Trek like stuck in a time loop.

But this weeks Orville was awesome. Dr is a cold blooded killa.
