I agree. It actually makes sense this time because he's a 15-year-old kid, and not a fully-grown man who should have some lick of common sense. That he's trying to balance the super hero gig, girls, school, etc. is not only true to the character, but very true for a kid his age. I also like that he declined to join the Avengers at the end until he got more experience..
