It isn't really an inflation issue, it's a supply crisis of certain specific goods used in how they calculate the cost of living.
Gas prices or meat prices, or rent prices increasing aren't just reflective of inflation, nor do they have a common solution. Like I said a lot of what we're seeing is the end result of decades of bad policy, some of which falls on the executive to fix through regulatory agency, but much of which needs the involvement of Congress as well.
