The beauty of living in the US is, if you don’t like the conditions of the state that you live in, you can move to another one. That’s why I live in Texas and why many Californians are moving here as well.
I was talking to a software engineer that I was working with on a project. He had moved from British Columbia to the United States. I asked him why he would leave such a beautiful area. His response was that the government only allowed for a person in his field to make $35,000 a year and here he make $100,000. It gets even better, because he said that the price of a decent apartment would set you back about $2,000. He and his girlfriend (at that time) could barely afford to live there, and they had good jobs. He pretty much said "screw Socialism, it sucks!"
Big speech tonight apparently.
New restrictions coming.
2021 America:
"It's not about freedom or personal choice."
Yes it is you old bag of sand and children's hair.
Economically mandating vaccines. Who thinks this will end well?
This is a very very very very bad idea. So many people are going to fight this.
He summed up your words Matt.

I love how personal choice is now SUPER IMPORTANT. On other issues, not so much.
At least kids in Mississippi still have the freedom to die from COVID.
Conversely, personal choice is super important for abortion, but not for vaccines. My body, my choice, right?
Some of us are actually pro choice all around though.
Is there a vaccine for children that I don't know about? At what point do we admit the truth that this thing is here to stay and no amount of hiding in a closet is going to fix things? All it does is delay the inevitable. It's endemic. Like the flu. Get the vaccine to lower the chances of contracting it and, if you get it, of surviving it. Shit, I know a family of four that were all vaccinated and ALL OF THEM got it.
