Mode: Um, you can change things back yourself, I am not overriding the new scheme as default. If you want to see the Go! scheme, you just select it via your User CP panel, then go to Edit Options, select User Style.
But if you mean the current Go! scheme as it is...I regret that I will not be changing it back, for various reasons. Sorry.

I hate to bitch about it, but it's difficult to adjust from the perfection that was the former Go! scheme.
then don't use the Go! set.

Mode: Seriously though...adjusting the color parameters was a pain. Initially my aim was to recreate a theme as close to the original colors as possible. However, I always found them to be a bit TOO bright (some like that, so...), I also had to take into account that a number of the icons used on this board were designed specifically for the old color scheme.
Here's one of those situations where the saying "you can't please everyone" applies.
Long story short, I ended up going with this scheme so that the links, icons and general text would all be easy to see. In your eyes, perfections is now tainted, for others, it's still refreshing from what we had before this all began. It's an adjustment and the option is there for you to take if you want it.
