    Eight Legged Freaks + Impressions

This Movie has the potential to be very funny and cool while bringing back memories of B Horror/Sci Movies but It could also go the other way. The cast isn't anything special so hopefully the focue will be on the Spiders and effects. Should be fun maybe like Tremors? Well it opens this Wed the 17th and it hopefully will be better than MIB 2.

Hmm I already have a feeling that the most people here won't give it a chance *sigh*

  2. I think it will go 'the other way'

but if it's anything like Tremors, then I'll enjoy it. I kinda doubt it though.

I dunno about this one, I've never really thought David Arquette was a good actor. His voice annoys me.

  4. Those hacks Devlin and Emmerich are producing. I don't expect much from this one, even if the trailer is kinda cool.

  5. Well, I will be seeing it this Saturday. It looks pretty fun, it cant much worse than MIB2 anyway

Spider FXs look great, and there are seems to be alot of action in the film to keep me from being bored.

So what if Devlin and Emerich producing, it still might end up as fun movie. Just dont go see it expecting high drama, and you will be ok.

  6. I'm guessing this will be a good popcorn flick. I know if I go in thinking its going to be another Tremors, I'll be sorely dissapointed.

Of course it will have to work pretty hard to top my all time favorite giant animals attack rural city movie "Them".

  7. I say the best way is to have no expectations, so when you get to the movie, and you end up liking it, you wont be comparing it to what you expected it to be, and will just have fun

It openes today, on Wednesday. Not many films do that.

  8. Well Ebert liked it. I don't know if that's good or bad.

    Ebert's Review

    So did IGN.

    IGN's Review

  9. Ebert seems to hate most of the good movies lately. He didnt like Blade 2, RE, Spiderman, Episode 2, Bourne Identity, Reign of Fire and the rest.

Was busy this morning, so havent read his review yet. Will do that after typing this

  10. I'm sensing a lot of Tremors love here.

    GRABOIDS!
