hmmm...all i know is this board makes my day at work fly the fuck by.
its already 3pm, 2 hours to go!!! yay!!!
Is there a possible way to criticize on a message board without facing written consequences?
I think ultimately everyone means well and really doesn't come online with the intent of genuinely creating hatred among anyone that may happen to cross their path (ie cases of going on with the intent of "pissing someone off" are mostly in retaliation to a statement or personal attack). Ultimately, though, it seems the only way to get a reaction out of news/releases/information of a game is to either praise it too highly or make a derogatory statement.
I thought of this because PaCrappa asked what it's like at Japanese BBSs in another thread. Through all the BBSs I've been to (and was able to read), I never really saw anyone using foul langauge in reaction to anything, personal or factual. Of course, this is only with my knowledge of the language which is far from fluent. So how can I say that without really being knowledgeable of the fact?
I think I've learned to live with a lot of the mannerisms that you people have, but it still irritates me to see some people that have these enormous ego problems roaming about. And how do I say that without being retaliated against?
Some people put an online message board in different priorities in their life, something I believe is forgotten a few times lately...

Just do it and say it. Maybe people will realize they have stuff to change.
If people start bitching, ignore it.
These boards are way too dramatic way too often...
