Thread: De facto game journalism: Ten pieces of absolutely true news

  1. Please, please write some more. Definitely an entertaining solution to actual 'work' I should be doing.

Anyways, Sqoon, I miss your game reviews.
Dammit, Bahn and your no deadline giving self!! You missed out on a goldmine! How hard is it to say, "One comic a week, due on Wednesday by 9pm CST"? Make it so. Somebody.

  3. !

Whether he's joking or not, that has to be the most amusing thing I've heard all day.

What an irony. Usually people whine about deadlines. I am not your babysitter, Kaneda. It seemed to me that your output was affected due to your fling with M (or basically that she moved on - I dunno. Your relationships aren't any of my concern). And it's not like you were on salary. You were invited on board because it was assumed that you'd be able to develop without any pressure. Basically your "discharge" as you put it was your own fault.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed your comics and it's unfortunate that Week in Reviews were discontinued. Any potential interest you may still of returning should be directed in confidence to Nick.

p.s. I too miss your reviews, Sqoon

  4. I'm just giving Bahn a hard time. I'm lazy is the point.

Besides, there's no way I could do comics of that length every week. They take a good amount of bitterness, so I'll wait for it to build up until I feel the need to draw it all down.

  5. Yay! This was resurrected. I sure missed reading these

  6. Sweet. But like The Onion, the longer stories tend to drag on a bit. The shorter ones hit their mark perfectly.
