Fantastic quotes. I think ... I almost understand the second one. Basically that, at some point, cool quotes and sayings become more than that; we understand them and actually see life from the same point of view.

It's more that we use quotes/repeated suggestions as a sort of shell that we can slough off once we arrive at the actual point of view of the person who said them. They're sort of like mental training wheels, I guess, is what I took from the quote. (Evidently I'm not there yet.)
