Thread: Do you read credits at the end of films?

  1. Do you read credits at the end of films?

I only read the credits if i really like the film, or if theirs bloopers or i like the music.. How aboat you?

  2. Always.

    People have some crazy nicknames.

    Satoshi Kon: 1963-2010

  3. Yes, When the film has outtaks, bloopers or some cool credit sequence(XXX comes to mind).

If its just regular credits, than no.

  4. Sometimes, if the movie has outakes like in Rush Hour 2, then yes otherwise no.

  5. credits I've stayed through as far as i can remember:

    final fantasy
    minority report
    lord of the rings

  6. I always stay until the movie is totally over. Sometimes movies have shit like outtakes (almost every Chan movie (the ones at the end of Project A2 are funny as hell) ) or funny names or nicknames in the credits or it's just done in an interesting style (like the Suicide Kings opening and ending). Or it just has good music which is reason enough for me to stay an extra few minutes. But in rare occasions some movies have a little extra scene or something after the credits as is the case with the Jerky Boys movie. It's a nice little reward for the people that stay till the credits are over.

    Later all...

  7. Rarely.

The last time I did was with Fight Club.

I figured these people put together one hell of a movie, so I should at least read their names. Plus, the music was phenomenal, and the commentary tracks continue all through the credits.

Oh yeah, one of my favorite things I've seen in the credits of a movie was in the Naked Gun, where instead of giving extras names like "angry guy #1", they are named by their lines in the movie.

"You killed him!" - Jane Couris

    Heh.

    And even better question:

How many of you sit through the entire credits, in hopes something cool will happen at the very end?

  8. Yes... like, in Austin Powers 2, many people are unaware of the final scene AFTER the credits, in which Mustafa is STILL alive and hurt very badly off of the cliffside. He even says, "Is there... is there anyone... there? I can hear you in the theatre. Hello? Please... Please someone... call an usher. Or a security guard... anyone? Hellooooo?"
And then the movie is done.
