...It's "Zoinks." Not "Zoiks."
Gaming Age has posted some new Steel Battalion Movies. The phrase "God-fearing" comes to mind... Also, "HOLY F@#$ING S#&T!!!"
The "tunnelvision" will either be annoying or atmospheric in this one.
I can't wait for Nov...
This looks more detailed every time a new movie pops up, which is good.
The draw-in looks ass-like, though. That's about it.
It may be called a mech-sim, but it seems to have plenty of fast action.
Count me in on launch day.
BTW, when does it hit in the US ??
- Kabuki
Looks great, but noticed the draw-in distance also.
Looking foward to it, and I suppose I'll be breaking down and forking over the cash launch day...
i was just thinking about how i'm going to have design some sort of base-table for this controller...can't just put it in my lap, it might crush me...
A fiend of mine, who happens to be a wholesaler of Japanese imports, offered to grab a copy of the soon-to-be-released Tekki -- estimated cost of about $245 (not inlcuding a simple mod to my Xbox).
I passed on it, thinking I would really be missing out on the immersion factor with no English translation (or instructions on all of the nuances of that 40-button controller). All I can say is that the domestic release had better be a sure thing, or I will be mightily pissed off.
Echoing Kabuki, I too was surprised at how much fast action there appears to be. As for draw-in, I assume it will be somewhat improved. If not, it still won't ruin the game for me...not by a longshot.
Draw-what? The game looks friggen amazing, and thats all I need to know. Not just amazing in "The mechs are cool, and lots of detail, and nifty special effects", but amazing in, "Holy Christ's crap on a stick! This will be the closest I will ever come to driving around in a mech, and it will make me soil my little fanboy panties!".
I will be buying this regardless of whether or not I have an Xbox when it comes out.
Z-roe
A is for action
By the way, apparently the pre-order on the domestic release showed upon on GameStop's site a day or so ago. $245, not to mention an addtional $10 for the "unusual" size and shape of the product.
I was kind of hoping for $125 - $175 range. Maybe it's just a placeholder until the final price is set. Either way, I can't pass on this title. It must be mine!
"Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"
