Honestly, I think this will hurt the game industry more than it will help it.

Americans don't like violence, but will let their children view (although with a bit of trepedation) killings, fatalities, and car jackings.

But as soon as you throw nudity into the mix parents get UNHAPPY.

I still think the general concensus on the video game industry is that its a "kiddie" hobby, and parents (and parent groups) don't want their kids seeing nudity (even if its in a video game).

Throw in some over-exaggerated nightly news reports, and magazine articles:

"This is what your children are playing!"

"Is Hugh Heffner making your childrens videogames?"

"Killing, rape, nudity, and drugs: the next wave of videogames?"

"Is Pac-Man sucking wang in a beat-up 74 Ford? News at 11!"


I wouldn't be surprised if the backlash on this game is even greater than Grand Theft Auto or Mortal Kombat.

This is exactly why we need this game! We can point and say "Look, boobies in a video game and the oceans didn't even boil."

Sure, the media and people could say that.

What will really happen imho is that it will get blamed for the next wave of school shootings, teen suicides, murders, etc...

Just the same as Night Trap, Doom, Mortal Kombat, etc, etc... have in the past.

Well, Boobs or no boobs, I still dont care about this game I dont care about any extreme sports games, this time its biking, so I will pass.

Character models on these screenshots do look like shit, but maybe they will make them better in finished game.

The character models look somewhere around those of ESPN Extreme Games, only a tad bit worse. The environments look good though. I'll at least give it a rental so I can have documented proof of the game sucking/not sucking. Oh, and MY COMPUTER IS A BIGGER THAN YOURS.
