I haven't run into any frame-rate issues on mine. I got what I was expecting: A nice mix between GT3 and Ridge Racer, with neat-o-mosquito graphics. I've been playing it in the garage mode ('sim'). I've had nothing but a blast playing it. I recall DC said he was playing in first person, and I'm playing with the camera pulled back behind the car, so there might be a difference there. It's certainly not the most impressive thing ever, but I'm having fun. Don't expect Initial-D The Game, and you should be fine with your purchase.
