From this moment on, I want to me known as the offical hater of Bethesda Software. First, I get dirty disk errors every 5 minutes in Morrowind,(not being sarcastic) and all of Bethesda's solutions require me spending more money (memory card, or 3 more games for Xbox) or deleting spells which I paid money for! (all though I haD 5 million drakes) and deleting the spells would most likely not work.

Then, I go to play Morrowind for the first time in a while today, to find my fucking file is corrupted. I did NOT shut off the power during a save or load, but yet my saved game file still gets corrupted. Bethesda can suck my dick.

It took me a few minutes to figure out what game you were talking about I'm assuming Xbox version of Morrowind?

You'd have to get in line to register for a Bethesda Haters card though...

The game is buggy as hell.

There is no excuse for releasing a console game with crash bugs. They should have held it in testing for another 6 months.

So it DOES have crash bugs? I find that highly amusing. Since I only played the PC version, once it came out, I never bothered to pay attention to the Xbox release (I was well and truly submerged at that point). There was a long running debate on the forums about that (and how pissed the Xbox people were about their version coming out later due to more bug testing). Apparently, it wasn't enough Not what I'd call surprising though... frankly, I'm amazed it came across on the Xbox at all.

I do the memory card trick, and it works great. C'mon... MU's are easy to steal if you're too cheap to buy one! How long have you been playing? I played non-stop (when awake) for over a week before I got even one error.

Errors or not, Morrowing is my favorite rpg of all time (replacing Kings Field) and I love Bethesda...

That's the main reason I stopped playing the PC version of Morrowind. Those bugs get annoying as hell.

Only played the PC version of Morrowind, but it was a fantastic (if buggy) experience. I don't think dirty disk errors are related to the software, but how the disk was pressed. I've heard people having problems with games and OXM disks I have, but I've never seen that error.

Oh, Morrowind is hardly the only console game with crash bugs. The Xbox version of Aggressive Inline is supposed to be the most bug free, but I've crashed it to a black screen of death. Good thing I had saved just minutes before.

I don't blame you for hating them, but the sheer massiveness of Morrowind, I'm still shocked it got a console release at all. Like passing a bowling ball through the eye of a needle.

Oh yeah, the Xbox version crashes.

Most often it's when entering or leaving the map screen. It happens most often in the Vivec region. In fact the first time I got to Vivec the game immediately crashed.

There are also a lot of bugs with people losing possesions etc.
