  1. Best Sega as 3rd party publisher game

    It's been quite some time since Sega dropped the Dreamcast and became a 3rd party publisher. Since Sega's decision to go multi-platform, which Sega published games do you think are the best? Which ones are the worst?

  2. Super Monkey Ball and VF4, although Monkey Ball 2 may be taking Monkey Ball's place soon.

  3. JSRF and GunValkyrie.
    Excellent gameplay, great graphics, fun soundtracks...
    I don't care WHAT the friggin' magazines said, these were awesome games.
    EDIT: Eeep! I forgot about SMB! I can't believe my GonGon keychain didn't remind me of how obsessive I am over this game!

  6. VF4 may be the most technically proficient Sega (3rd party) release, although I'm not an expert on the issue by any means.

    Still, I'd have to go with JSRF or Gunvalkyrie, and I would probably go with Gunvalkyrie in the end. Why? Because for me it probably best embodies the classic Sega game -- not perfect, but unique, slightly weird, challenging, and action-packed.

    That's when Sega is at its best: presenting a unique (and often "new") experience that is bound to both surprise and challenge the gamer, while maintaining fun gameplay. SEGA!!

  8. Probably VF4, but I haven't played enough of it. Right now, I'm saying JSRF.

    Virtua Fighter 4, definitely. That game should be worshipped by lesser companies (*cough*NAMCO*cough*). NFL2K3, JSRF, Monkey Ball, and GunValk are all excellent too.
