    Top 10, yay.

  2. #62

    ^^^ Now there's a website for it!

  3. 492,179,631,250 / EXP: 1,960,406 -- Rob / MOS 2 / Stage 5

Old score. Does it make much of a difference to use the close range shot for scoring purposes? I was mostly using the regular shot, and I want to hit that trillion mark some year.

  4. Yes, it's definitely a good idea to get into the habit of using the piercing cannon. Not simply because it awards more points, but also because it opens more scoring opportunities.

  5. Update:

    391,334,657,450 / EXP: 1,217,527 -- Facilitypro / MOS 2 / Stage 5

Mode7, I also post at the Shmups.com forums. Is it kosher to post the same score at both places?

  6. Can't imagine why not. Though, if the universe implodes I'm holding you responsible.

  7. Question DC or Arcade?

Hello guys, I've been told from reliable sources that is much easier to score well on the DC version than on the Arcade one. This seems to be proven by the fact the DC version has got more digits in the score.
If that is definitely confirmed could we please create 2 different tables?
    Thx

EDIT: I checked, the arcade version can't reach 1 trillion. max score there would be 999,999,999,999. That definitely calls for the separate table
By the way, here it is my score

    Arcade Version:
    23,287,134,920 exp 473,612 stage 3 SHIP:2

  8. If there seems to be sufficient interest in the arcade version, I'll gladly include it. Until then, just the DC version chart is plenty to maintain.

  9. 733,034,794,660/ EXP: 1,472,759-- Facilitypro / MOS 2 / Stage 6

  10. I've been playing Mars Matrix quite a bit recently and was wondering, does the arcade version mimic the DC port that utilizes a 4:3 screen ratio as opposed to the 3:4 proportion that's commonly used in most vertical shooters?
