The All-TNL Top 10 Playstation Games List - THE FINAL LIST! Updated sept. 4th

Well, I compleatly missed the whole PS boat. I never bought one until a few months after DDR Disney was released in the US. But anyway, here is what I have played enough to really love:

1 SotN: By a mile. It makes my personal top 10 for all games.

2 DDR: It's the only reason I bought a PS.

3 Gradius Gaiden: Sure is purdy in places. Fun to play, too.

4 Megaman 8: Second favorite Megaman game behind 2.

5 Strikers 1945: That's Strikers 1945 II to the rest of the world...

6 Arcade Party Pack: It has Smash TV and some other games that aren't Smash TV.

7 Gunner's Heaven: Plays a mighty fine game of run n' gun.

8 Ridge Racer 4: Phew! It was begining to look like there wasn't going to be any 3D in my PS to 10! What a disaster that would have been.

9 Photo Boy: PC Engine wackyness!

10 Time Crisis: Plays a mighty fine game of bad guy shootin'.

Despite the automatic apprehension some "hardcore gamers" feel when they think of sports games, nevermind extreme sports, there's just the fact that the PSX version is generally the lesser of all available versions of the game. I mean, given that I own and enjoy DC Tony Hawk, I'm not particularly interested in the PSX version. *shrug*

1.) Final Fantasy Tactics - No explanation needed.
2.) Star Ocean: The Second Story - Customize-ablity out the ass. Fun to boot.
3.) Final Fantasy VII - A classic, the first great RPG on the system.
4.) Twisted Metal 2 - Wheres the love? this is the car-combat game that set the standard.
5.) Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 - im surprised this isnt on the list... i played it for hours upon hours.
6.) Brave Fencer Musashi - screw you, Zelda, this game was 10x better.
7.) NHL Faceoff '97 - best hockey game for the PS, PERIOD.
8.) Einhander - Awsome soundtrack, kinda hard though.
9.) Gran Tourismo 2 - best racer on the system.
10.) Need For Speed 3 - powerslide, bitches! another great racer.

I agree with that.

If THPS3 wasn't available on a newer system it would for sure be on my list (or atleast THPS2).
