Anyone seen Mario Sunshine in stores yet?

I have it preordered for tomorrow at TRU, but I think I'll check out Wal-Mart for the hell of it tonight.

I have the import, butI saw it at EB and Gamestop this morning in Washington.

Funco/gamestop was suppost to get it tonight. they didnt (at least not the gamestop). Guess I'll rock the sunshine before work tomorrow morning.

Gamespot totally trashed the game, it's pretty obvious the reviewer was looking for reasons to not like the game. I guess he was expecting it to be 4d

Was the release date officially changed to the 27th? I was pretty irritated when I couldn't find it today.

Didn't gamespot give it a 8 out of 10? That's pretty damn good. The reviewer had problems with the game and I think he justified himself well in his review.

It's always been the 27th. That's the in-store date.

People... the 26th was the SHIP date. You won't see it in most stores until Tuesday. That's just the realities of shipping, mixed with Nintendo not wanting copies out before the 26th -- if they deliver them before then, one store will "accidently" break the date -- which means that whole chain will start selling it since the date is irrelevant. Once that happens, EVERYONE can sell it. The chain that breaks the date faces not only possible fines (depending on their contract with the publisher), but also a soured relationship with Nintendo -- they wanted it sold on the 26th, not before. That's why no one got copies before the 26th. No one wants to be the first for fear of Nintendo's wrath, and Nintendo doesn't want copies out before the 26th.
