Did better that time, especially in avoiding getting hit, but I messed up in a few spots. I'm not used to milking the Birth Model, and was getting hit so much I stopped early rather than risking a death. And I let wayyyy too many projectiles through on the final boss.

Does anyone know what causes the invincible ruffian on 3-2 to hurry forward and hit you during the last bit of his section? It doesn't happen often, but it's annoying because I don't know how to stop it or any way to avoid it.

I have been wondering this myself, and have no clue. My best guess is when you slash him it seems he "changes planes". Or possibly it has to do with time?

At any rate... I have an addition to that Boss Info Chart Valgar made...

Nothing was included on Radan at the end of 2-2, and it SHOULD be noted that if you play just right, you can milk Radan for up to three yellow crystals!

The trick is to drive Radan off the edge three times obviously, open by knocking out Kachua as usual then jump over Radan's fireballs. After that volley of attacks she will jump, DO NOT attack her when she is airborne otherwise you'll inflict too much damage. When she is on the ground drive her back with your sword slashes... Watch her back carefully, if it raises up she will launch an electrical attack... If she does, back away. After that she may or may not jump again, so be aware of that.
If you do everything right, you can knock her off three before she dies and get three yellow crystals.

Congrats MonkeyMan and Strangeness on the improvements... GO FOR THE PERFECT BONUS!!!

Didn't get hit until Radan... I think that's my furthest ever, or at least close. Then I got hit on the beginning of Transformed Kachua's second form (as usual), got hit on the Anemone Seemer (v_v), and I stopped keeping track once I saw how much I was getting hit on 2-2.

I was doing well for most of it, but messed up on 3-2. Got hit twice by the invincible ruffian, missed three of those segmented ruffians and got hit a lot there, and then got hit twice by the fireball-spitting Seemer. Does anyone know a good way to kill those things on the walls, or do I have to just hope that the sword doesn't bounce at the wrong time?

I almost broke 70 million in 3-2. Did better on the final boss, but two projectiles got through. Next time...

Those things only open when your pretty much underneath them... they send out a tractor beam that lifts you upward presumably so that the Larva Seemer can catch up to you. Don't slash your sword until your right under them I guess...

Very nice, I was only going for 2 before. But let's make it even better.

Instead of taking kachua out right away, wait until you are ready to kill radan. This way you'll have 99 seconds on the clock. The Central Commander Bonus is times 1,000 while the Commander bonus is only 100.

My favorite scene will forever be when Ayran rips off her coat at the beggining of 2-1. I watch that EVERY time.

I discovered something I didn't know before - while fighting the Earth Eyelid's rear panel, you can destroy the four engines for bonus gems.

Still no Perfect Bonus, though I've gotten close. It's harder when you're tense from playing the rest of the game than it is in practice.

Ye gods... I've improved my score almost nine million today...

What is your FAVORITE line or cinema scene from the game?!

The one Valgar mentioned is great, as is Saki getting his gun ready at the beginning of 3-2.

The shot of the digital clock, and then with blood splattered on it, is great.

"We've got work to do!" is nice, with the glowing doorway and the screen fading to white.

Airan ramming Radan off the building is pure gold. "Fall down, you stupid beast!"

The whole "You could've just teleported free!" "Idiot! Don't you realize how dangerous teleporting is?" "They're dangerous! They're about to kill me!" "These enemies outmatch you, Leda." exchange is great. And Achi beating on Airan is hilarious.

Knocking Brad through the window is grand. And the shot right when you defeat him on the Malachi is lovely.

I like how Achi smiles and says "I thought I should show you at least once". And her speech where she segues into the powerful-sounding voice is awesome.

Saki saying "Good morning, Airan" at the beginning of 3-2 is great. As is his "At least we won't go hungry" line.

I love the style of this game. The camera angles, the motion blur, the brightness... it feels incredibly surreal.

The scenes between 3-2 and 3-3 are awesome. Achi blocking Saki's bullets, Saki pulling out an energy attack and knocking her down, Achi rising back up in a way that screams power, Saki waking up Airan and then transforming, Achi's power voice again while she spins in that awesome way... "The old Earth will die soon, killed by the very people it fed. When I take its place, I will not make the same mistake. What I need is a God of War, to rule the chaos for me. That's you, Saki."

And the ending is cool. "I always wanted to be a cop." Then the sun rising... Achi floating off somewhere, transformed Saki walking, with Airan...

(I'd better stop now before I go back and add in every single scene in the game.)

WOW... Amazing job Strangness...
I can only imagine the unbridled joy you must have felt after nabbing that PURFEKT BONUS for the first time. I hope I get to experience that someday... Do you have to use the sword alot to deflect missles when your trying for it? Is there any way you guys could help me get it, some basic strats to remember?
Nerves are the biggest obstacle in getting that bonus after investing a 50 min+ trial of intense gameplay.

I ALSO just recently discovered that you could destroy the four engines around the Earth-Eyelid rear crater... potential 200 000+ points extra !!

No time to update my score yet, I have one more final exam before my break, then I'll have a lot of time to kill... ruffians that is.

Wow, I LOVE all those scenes you pointed out Strangeness... I can tell you have fantastic taste in many things simply by outlining it the way you did...

Anyone who likes Treasure games basically has excellent gaming tastes.
