How big is your collection?

Wow... I was bored this evening and thought I'd do a quick inventory of my DVD collection. When I went through and counted them all up and added it up the number scares me. All told I have a total of 259 DVDs currently in my collection. And that is counting all of the box sets as 1, if I were to count each disc seperately I'd be over 300!!!! When I figure an average of $20 per DVD (and that's being quite fair, if I'm counting the box sets as 1) that averages out to over $5180 on DVD's. Ouch. So what are the rest you at?

I have six. I borrow everything else from friends and the library.

Well, I have about 3000 vhs and about 200 dvds as of today

I have about 120 in my collection, although only about 40 were bought and chosen by myself.

Um.....do you even watch all those movies? (talking to Despair) What's the point of having such a large VHS collection, I mean, at least with DVDs you get extras, but how many times will you watch a VHS.

I only have about a dozen DVDs, but as far as VHS goes, I'll put it this way, I have one entire shelf dedicated to The Twilight Zone.

Well, I started my collection almost 10 years ago, and yes I actually watched most of the movies I have, and some many times

Dude, Despair, you should have one giant VHS bonfire... burn away all the evil.

The problem is, many of those films dont have dvd of them out yet, and many wont have ever, so the only way for me to have those films is to keep vhs.
