Thread: Damn, another quarter

  1. Damn, another quarter

    So, I'll start off...

Biggest money-takers for me were PacMan, the original Street Fighter (friggin badass Bison), Super SF2 Turbo (Akuma), and Millipede. Oh, and then of course, there's Crazy Taxi and Nintendo's classic Pay-for-Play before Super Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt and stuff were featured on the NES.

  2. Initially Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man, until I reached the point where I could play until I crashed the machine on one quarter.

After that SiniStar, M.A.C.H. 3 (I think that may have been the first machine I played that took two quarters or tokens, or it might have been Dragon's Lair), Rampage. Hard to think of them all at this time of morning. Oh yeah, Galaga and Dig-Dug.

  3. I pumped plenty of quaters into 1942, Donkey Kong, Spy Hunter, and Daytona USA machines. I know there are more, but I just can't think of them now.

  4. Street Fighter 2, MvsC and 3rdStrike fighter has been always my favorite’s arcades

I spent one quarter beating Capcom vs. SNK: Millenium Fight(Gil's sort of hard at first; the SNK timing is way different than the Capcom timing, but when I played as Terry, I beat his sorry ass.......go figure.....),VF3,Tekken 4(ewwwwwww), and some other games I can't remember.

Zidane, what did you hate most about Tekken 4? For me, it was the sloppy controls.

  8. SF 2
    SFA
    SF3
    Marvel vs Capcom
    Xmen vs Street Fighter
    Samurai Shodown 4
    Soul Edge
    Soul Calibur
    House of the Dead
    House of the Dead 2
    Time Crisis 2
    LA Machine Guns

    And most recently...

    Soul Calibur 2

I wish our arcade didn't suck so much. Most of the games on my list aren't even there anymore and the only fighting games there are Soul Calibur 2 and Tekken Tag...

    Street Fighter II. By far.

  10. Street Fighter 2, althugh I was as big on it then as now.
Both Ninja Turtles games. They were in a grocery store down the street from me with street fighter, so the minute I got quarters that's where I went.
Captain America and the Avengers, up until this older guy spent $10 to beat it.
