    Advice for a first-time Japan visiter.

    So, I'm should be setting off for Japan in a month or two, and was looking for some advice from anyone who's been/lives there.

    I'll be going to Tokyo. Where should I stay? Just what exactly IS Akihabara (I know I spelled that wrong) like? I'm mainly going to further my enjoyment of videogames, so I figured that would be the place?

    At least he knows how to spell "Akihabara" correctly.

    Akihabara is an enormous electronics shopping district in Tokyo. Computers, DVD players, TVs, video games (or "TV games"), it's all there. You might want to ask around TFP for some help; dcharlie currently lives in Tokyo, and is very knowledgeable about the city. You should also contact Seven Force.

    I know what it is. I wanted to know what it's like.

    And, as Sleeveboy pointed out (thank you), at least I know how to spell it :P

    So far this has been very constructive.
    Let's review:

    Don't fuck with the Yakuza.
    Don't have sex with minors (I don't think my girlfriend would approve )
    Ask Seven Force, and dcharlie about it.

    That about sums it up.

    I need help from 7 and dcharlie, but I don't like TFP.
