    So, How's Beach Spikers?

The reason I'm asking is because I saw it at CD warehouse for $30 and having heard good things about it, thought I might go back and get it. Is it worth getting at for $30, or should I just use my money to buy Super Monkey Ball 2 or Mario Sunshine for $50 instead?

  2. I think it's outstanding, especially with four players. The camera's a little spazzy, and it could use an extra mode or two, but it's arcade sports action at its best. If you've got gaming pals, it's a steal at $30 - heck, I think it's worth $50 at least.

But Beach Spikers is NOT better than Super Monkey Ball 2.

  3. I dig the game alot. It's a blast. I think Virtua Tennis fans will take to it especially well.

  4. save yourself about 26 bucks and pick up a copy of super spike v-ball...atleast that uses TWO buttons...

  5. Beach Spikers uses two buttons. In fact, using both A and B are essential to not sucking.

Its an excellent game. I honestly can't believe people are so hyped for DOA EXTREME(!) Beach Volleyball when there is a great nextgen volleyball game already out. Atleast admit that you want DOA for the polygonal T and A.

Erm, many already have. It's certainly the only reason I want it (I think Beach Spikers looks better gameplay-wise), and I can guarentee it's the only reason the people I know who love DOA3 want it.

So get over trying to prove something that's already been proven.

  7. The team mates are WAY too much into each other in Beach Spikers. Reprimanding is good comic fun as well.

It is easily worth $30. I paid $50 and I'm happy.

  8. good game for any price. Cheaper is better though. My only complaint is the camera, since it makes anything other than controlling a custom team more of a chore than it is.

  9. Eh... I don't know. I had fun with it but it seemed a bit shallow to me. That and the camera when returning a spike.
I thought you were gay.... i guess not.

It uses A, B, and X (X is the button that is like pressing A+B at the same time).
