why isn't metal gear solid working with bleem! for dreamcast...

I have a 1st generation DC, pal version of metal gear solid, and bleem! for dc. bleem! doesn't recoginze metal gear, why?

Your using the MGS Bleem and it goes to the boot screen right? I dunno mine worked ok but I never used the PAl one does it try to load?

yeah, it gets to the "insert game" bleem boot screen

i tried my us metal gear, works fine. bleem doesn't seem to recognize my pal version. it spins for a second and it stops

Hmm well it's supposed to work with PAL but hey if you US version works your all set right? Is this the one in Spanish or somethin?

yeah, it's in spanish.

it worked fine with a boot disk on my psone, but the ntsc/pal discrepancies make the picture come out black and white on my tv.

so the dc is still an ntsc system right? id imagine thats the problem and not the bleem disc itself.

Um, why do you have a PAL version of MGS1?

i thought so too, but bleem says it's suppposed to work with US and PAL versions. =/ meh
