    Frailty

    Wow this was a great Movie one of my favorites this year and for those who missed it the DVD comes out on Sept 17th I believe. Bill Paxton puts in a 5 star preformance, the Movie is very disturbing and keeps you glued to your seat. I'd love to see it again. Very underrated Horror film. I loved it along with other Horror fans. I can't say too much but if your a Horror fan you owe it to yourself to see it.

  2. Well, I missed it in theaters, but I will be definately renting it next week. I heard ALOT of good things about this movie, and excited about watching it.

  3. bought it today but haven't watched as of yet. i'll give it a whirl in a few minutes since i almost always watch a movie before i go to bed. sucks that there's no insert.

  4. Well, I just finished watching Frailty, and it was excellent film. Not scary(at least to me, since serial killer films dont scare me at all), but very nicely written, directed and acted. Story was interesting, and it kept me want to know more, and I enjoyed the revalations at the end. Definately one of the better films I seen this year.

    I will try to post my full impressions/review later this weekend, or on Monday

  5. definitely agreeing with despair. i finished it a little while ago and it was damn, damn good. the whole kill... err... destroying demons for god was nice, and shows how crazy the hardcore religious types would probably go if need be. not to say that they would. but holy shit that was great.

  6. I really enjoyed this movie also. Bill Paxton did a wonderful job directing and acting... plus those two kids were great. I really wish I had seen this in the theater.
    You sir, are a hideous hermaphroditical character which has neither the force and firmness of a man, nor the gentleness and sensibility of a woman.

  7. My reaction to the film was that there were no demons at all, but that Bill and his family were completely, thoroughly nuts.

    That doesn't mean I didn't like it, though. It was a fascinating look into the psychosis of religious mania, and the ends to which people will make themselves go (a play on the film's title, in fact).

    I think it's supposed to be open to interpretation. It can go either way.

  9. Well, I agree that it was open to the user interpatation, on if the visions and demons were real or not.

    But the point that how did Adam knew about Powers Booth character actually killing his mother, the fact that FBI agent didnt recognized him when meeting again, and the distortion on the surveliance tapes.

    And a fact that older brother did killed the people later in life, actually matched the prediction that he is/will be a demon.

  10. It was a really great movie, but I can't help noticing the similarities to Boondock Saints. Does anyone else see the same premise?
