Thread: The Cinematronics Thread

  1. I'm more familiar with the Vectrex ports of these games. I was aware of the arcade originals, but I've never seen them. God I loved the Vectrex. and yeah, they were soem great games. Didn't they make Web Warp/Web Wars also? That game was badass. I think Star Castle also made it to Colecovision.

  2. #12
I can think of a few home games that were ported to the arcades: Pitfall 2, Choplifter, and Boulderdash.

  3. NeoZeedeater = x3 bonus points!

  4. Just curious: Are there any other Veccy owners around here?

Oh yeah, and I want bonus points too, so:

Fantasy Zone II, Excitebike, Super Mario Bros, and Woody Pop.

Nintendo VS. and Playchoice 10 games don't count.

FZII and Woody Pop might work, though. But wasn't FZII released first on System 16 hardware?

  6. Nope. Fantasy Zone was System16 in the arcades first, but the sequel was made for for SMS and then ported to System E.

  7. Armor Attack brings back so many memories. My brother and I used to play it at Circus Playhouse in Hollywood Fl, way back when. Great game.

Star Castle rocks as well. *sob* So many memories....

F-15 Strike Eagle had an arcade game. I remember reading about the game coming to arcades, but I've only seen the game once. The time I saw it was about 2 years ago and the machine was turned off. Bummer!

Nope, but I sure wish it did!

  9. Thunder Force III (as Thunder Force AC, but with a couple levels changed)

    Bristles
    Flip & Flop
Street Fighter Zero 3 Dreamcast version (as Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper)
Soul Calibur Dreamcast version (a rare Naomi title)

Triple bonus points to anyone who can think of another!

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
