I love beers, I always try to find new beers to taste. My current favorite is a local Amber Lager from Karl Strauss Breweries. As for Hard Liquor, I usually drink vodka with cranberry, Kamikazes, Gin and Juice, and Tokyo or Long Island Iced Teas. If I want a sweet drink I get a Buttery Nipple or some Bailey's straight. I'm a big fan of vodka, but it does tend to give me the worst hang overs if I get tipsy from it.

Oh yeah, Captain Morgan Spiced Rum is great during fall and winter. I gotta start buying flasks of it for holiday parties.

Strange, I've never got a hangover from vodka. And yes, vodka and cranberry rules,(anyone got the real name of those? It escapes me at the moment) much better than Screwdrivers and *cringes* Cosmos..All though if you want somethign sweet, a cosmo might be a good choice for a vodka lover.

Great movie that turned me onto a great drink. I'll pretty much drink anything but I'm a fan of Heineken, Southern Comfort, and any type of rum. I once drank half a bottle of rum in about 15 minutes then smoked a joint and was feelin real nice for awhile until I threw up violently 3 times. I've loved the stuff ever since.

I found as I got older that I started to enjoy beer and wine more and more. Mostly in the casual sense, as Stone - truly a man of leisure - so succinctly put it. Drinking to get drunk - it's fun once in a while, as it affords a senseless, giddy high that goes quite well with a summer backyard patio, good friends and conversation. But it's generally not as effective and far more annoying to deal with afterwards than certain other things, if you catch my drift.

I love Guinness because you can just chill and drink one of those suckers for an hour. I also live in Canada, the land of rockin' beer (after Germany, anyway), with Alexander Keith's, Moosehead and 15 different kinds of Sleeman's available at finer local establishments.

Most hard liquor just isn't my thing...yet, anyway. Maybe when I'm 40 a good bottle of scotch will be a great way to pass a weekend with company, but right now it just makes me wretch.

Kamikazes and Cosmopolitans have always seemed more sour and citrusy to me than sweet. Might depend on how they're made.

A buttery Nipple is half a shot of Bailey's floating on top of half a shot of Butterschotch Schnapps. Definately very sweet and tastes like candy, very good drink to shoot with girls who hate the taste of alcohol.

Just about anything with some type of Schnapps is an instant sweet drink to me.
