Thread: Virtual On for PS2.

  1. If you've played the Saturn version, then you can survive the PS2 version... although I must admit, VO online would be a very smart idea, I wonder if Marz will be online...
    Name: Rock
    Town: Arcadia

  2. I can endure - but it could be better.

  3. Everything could be better, my friend. It's how we deal with what we get that's important...
    Name: Rock
    Town: Arcadia

  4. Takes a seat to himself, contemplating these turn of events.

Well, I'm at a loss of words, I'm confused, feeling stange, and a strong strong lust to hold this game in MY OWN HANDS PLAYING IT!!! As I am sure everyone else would, Let's just hope (Well seeing as how this is Hitmaker this is impossible) It's not complete ass.

  5. Okay, first off, that is surely closer-looking to a Force port than I was told.

And yes, there is text in Force. Force has a small tutorial at the beginning, with an instructer who tells you how to begin playing.

Third, those arenas look quite a bit like Force's.

Well, I don't think it's going to be a completely new game. It'll surely have a lot of Force elements in it... And... Arrgh.

This whole thing is hurting my brain.

Yeah, I saw those gameplay impressions earlier.

Kinda odd, as they say there will be a simplified control option, and that there were eight PS2s linked together at the demonstration.

I'm at a loss. If this is a new VO game being built completely for the PS2, I will be both curious, as I don't know if it'll be a fighting game or a "Force Single-player" kind of thing, and enraged, because Hitmaker will possibly never port Force.

    Edit: Official Site - http://www.vo-marz.com

  6. Actually, I would love to play Virtual On: Marz on Xbox Live, with the Tekki controller.

    One can only dream.

  7. The two-players against the mini-boss shot makes me giddy.
Kinda odd, as they say there will be a simplified control option [...]
Yeah, that better remain an option, and it better not be the VO equivalant of EO.

  8. Yeah, that better remain an option, and it better not be the VO equivalant of EO.
Hmmm... VO with an EO-type setting...

    One button =

Raiden crouching CW into a crouching LTCW h L or R (EO will automatically decide based on the opponent's movement, you see ), followed by a crouching RTRW.

...Well, that was a bit too far, but it still makes me cringe.

I highly doubt the easy control option will be any big deal.

I hope so. Although VO:EO is fun to say really fast.

    Vee-Oh-Ee-Oh! Vee-Oh-Ee-Oh! Vee-Oh-Ee-Oh! Yeah... it's been a slow day at work...
