Dial-up was always a laggy hell for me with online games, DC or PC, and I live in Vancouver which isn't a small city.

Defineatly needs more levels, but I rarely had a lag problem. I live in Dallas, so I feel that Dial-Up is no problem for those who live in larger suburban areas. Broadband only has about a 35% penetration level into homes, whereas a person like me with Dial-Up is the norm.

@ Videodrome: Capcom vs SNK 2 (Xbox) and Marvel vs Capcom 2 (PS2) will both allow for online multiplayer fisticuffs. Take a few deep breaths my friend...your online fighting games are on the way.
Personally, I'd like to see beat-em-ups and shoot-em-ups become online console gaming experiences. The possibilities for intense co-op play this would offer is staggering...and I lack the friends to get multiplayer beat-em-up and shoot-em-up action happening often offline.![]()
Is your ISP located somewhere above earth's orbit? I used to play the game non stop, and the only laggy thing about it was the jibberish voice chat and the way you would hit a guy a million times and he would not die. All in all AFO was one the most 56k friendly games on the DC, right up there with 4x4 Evolution.I found AFO lagged like crazy but it could be a good game on a current console with broadband and more levels.
And you do have a point though, the game was sorely lacking in levels, and game modes. Nobody ever played Fortress mode (because it sucked), and CTF wasn't fun. And the low number of levels was quite a hindrence, especially when people people set up their servers to have the artic level, good lord I hated playin that level over and over again.
I would love to see a sequel, but this time around not limit the game to tank battles, so they can atone for the loss of:
You and me both.I just want Propeller Arena![]()

I'd like to see an online Gundam game that plays kinda like Federation vs Zeon. The game could be the ongoing battle between the two with different maps and objectives each week. The rest they'd have to figure out. My creativity, or lack thereof, is spent.
