bbobb, You took a picture of Stretch Panic?

Did you take a picture of your LEAVINGS, as well?

  2. The sad thing is, pretty much all of those licensed sports games wind up in the landfill over the years. Plenty of other genres do too, but you do not see people paying $300.00 for a sealed Madden '94.

No. 2k2 was released on PS2 and Xbox as well as DC.

  4. Interesting:
    PS2 MADDEN NFL 2003 ELECTRONIC ARTS 930,329
XBX MADDEN NFL 2003 ELECTRONIC ARTS 146,150
First, we see that the PS2 Madden outsells the Xbox Madden by a ratio of 6.4 to 1.

    PS2 NFL 2K3 SEGA OF AMERICA 77,585
XBX NFL 2K3 SEGA OF AMERICA 59,414
Yet, the PS2 NFL2k3 only outsold the Xbox NFL2k3 by a ratio of 1.3 to 1. What's up with that? That's a huge difference.

Are Xbox gamers more open minded than PS2 gamers (a higher percentage of Xbox gamers are willing to switch their preferred football series)? Just more Sega fanboys on the Xbox? Maybe the Xbox and PS2 Maddens are more similar than the Xbox and PS2 NFL2k3s.

    Still, strange.

  5. Why NFL2k3 outsold Madden on Xbox may be because it supports online play and Madden on the xbox doesnt.

  6. sunshine came out on the 26th right? not bad for a few days sales

  7. Hmm... you know, no one's actually brought up the point that we don't get yearly fighting games for any series on any system*. Just thought I'd bring that up.

*Aside from Neo-Geo, which isn't very populated in the US anyway.

  8. Who fucking cares if Football games sell well. Would you rather have no games every year that sell really well and help support systems and developers. Keep in mind MANY MANY people BUY consoles just for said sports games. So stop your fucking bitching already.
