Anyone Else getting 'Brotherhood of the Wolf'

So it's coming out next week on DVD--is anyone picking this up? I preordered from Suncoast...anyway, Despair often talks about Mark Dacascos (sp?) being a decent actor--I saw Drive and thought it was phenomenal--so I figured I'd give Brotherhood a try...

Yeah, Its an excellent action/adventure film, interesting story, great sets and cinematography, and really cool and well done action and fighting. Mark Dacasscos along with French lead (damn, forgot his name) are great as heroes and did well in fighting scenes(choreographed by Philip Kwok(Mad Dog from Hardboiled). Cristophe Ganz loves HK cinema, and you can feel elements of that used in his films. US dvd set is looking nice, but I will reccomend getting Canadian 3 dvd LE edition, which have tons of extras, simular to original French 3dvd collectors set, only subbed in English, excellent picture and sound, and Region 1 coded. And for about $29.

I'll be getting the Canadian version myself... oh and BTW, we're currently checking to see if we can get ahold of quite a few copies to sell also.

i too am getting brotherhood of the wolf on dvd. it's one badass piece of filmmaking.

ps - the main character looks like a belmont, especially simon.

I know...I meant to see it at the local theater but I just couldn't get my wife to go along...she's not much of an action junkie...go figure. Before I married her she was all into action films--heck the first movie we saw together was Knock-off in the theater...but now she only likes those sappy love stories...

Damn...I already preordered the U.S. version and for the price I would have loved to get the one with all the extras...
