Playing the demo to UT2k3 really made me want to play Q3. That was perhaps the biggest impact it had on me.

It's nice that Quake IV will pick up after Quake II.
The Parasite in Quake II is one wicked motherfucker. This guy has a nasty tendency of popping up in certain areas and suddenly shooting a probe into you. As the manual says, it does indeed make Cujo look like Lassie on Prozac.
Hopefully the vehicles will only be used on a Red Faction basis... I don't want it becoming another Twisted Metal.

No he was likening Quake to Mortal Kombat as thier attrocious styles are moreorless the same. Personally I think Quake is a little better presentation wise than MK.
