Yes... I also miss assualt. I'm pretty sure someone out there will eventually make an Assualt mod though. Just gotta give it some time.

Any impressions on how the PC version does on different video cards? Is this pretty much requiring a 64MB AGP card?

Mine is doing fantastic on a bottom level Geforce 2 MX

Mind you it's 64 MB. And It's got a 1.8ghz P4 backing it with 256mb RD ram. Take it how you will.

Bombing run absolutely rules. I've had issues with UT's balance for awhile, because too many of the weapons had way too much overkill factor, and headshots were way too easy to get. Always seemed like a fun distraction, but it never felt as skill based as Q3 to me. Bombing run, however, has made me love the game. Now I just need to spend about $500 on my PC, and it'll be running acceptably

Oh yeah, does anyone know if Unreal Championship is gonna have something like bombing run?

This has some goodies for tweaking UT2k3 to run even nicer. Johnpv, you might be able to use OpenGL, if DX is giving you problems.

Unreal Championship for me. I'd get 2003 but I actually enjoy playing online with the consoles. Besides, Halo made me believe in the XBOX pad for FPS.

Holy crap. That map looks awesome.

I never really got into UT... I was always more of a Quake 3 person. But, now that I've played a decent amount of UT2k3, I know that I must have it. I can't really put my finger on it... It just feels better.

Imagine my dissapointment when I found that it required a P3 750.

Strangelove would be great in UT2k3. Unless there already is one?
