    I had no idea Survival Arts was by the Guilty Gear guys- I thought it was made in the USA.

    No, Survival Arts was developed by Sammy on the SSV board themselves while Guilty Gear was developed by Arc System Works and published by Sammy.

    SA was made to exploit Mortal Kombat's huge popularity at the time. The game may not be great but it's fun to laugh at like Kasumi Ninja, Way of the Warrior, etc.

    Better than Kasumi Ninja? Yes.

    Better than Mortal Kombat? Shit! This game is a total train wreck.

    Somehow it actually managed to be even worse than Street Fighter: The Movie (Seven Force- good thing you tied Xs up, lest he take a swing at me for my mention of SFTM ) SA's graphics are a grainy clusterfuck. The control is horrid- it's way on down there with SFTM in that regard.

    When playing it, you must try to "survive" the attack of lethal boredom and loose control.
