Man... since when was VO about "all and everyone?"
Anyway, I'm sure someone in Hong Kong will figure something out about the DC/SS to PS2 deal...
My opinion was well summed up by a post by Scott Robinson from VO.NET:
Yeah, the same IGN that got just about every detail about Marz... let alone the REST of the VO series incorrect.
I'll wait for a bit more authoritarian words come... especially given there have been other "quotes" stating there will be PS2 twinsticks.
Scott.

Well, either way, there's an interview coming up that'll answer the question for sure. I must admit, I'm a tad worried.
I would think that the standard PS2 pad would suffice for the game with its dual analog sticks and four index finger buttons on its top. Seems like the perfect gamepad version of the arcade sticks.
That'd be true if Steel Batallion were, um, Force. With Steel Batallion emenent, I could care less about any other Mech game...even if it is VO.
Capcom is going to give you all the twin-stick action you can handle, and then some!
...Honestly, though, SB is about as different as you can get from VO.
I liked the control with the DC pad, so I guess I have nothing to say other than, um, stinks for those that would have liked them. At least Tekki is coming with ITS controller.
I can make do with the PS2 controller for VO. Seems pretty capable. Twin sticks would be neat, but it doesn't seem like as much of a neccessity here.
For a game that requires 40-some odd buttons, I sure would hope so...!Originally posted by Master

One of the main problems with the DC pad for me personally was the rotating and specials bits. Damn near impossible.
