bloodsport hits dvd!

after years and years of waiting, bloodsport finally hits dvd! this is arguable van damme's best movie (my favorite is hard target, but bloodsport is up there).

i don't think there's much in the way of special features, though. from what i've read, there's just gonna be a trailer and cast and crew bios. but extras never mattered to me. i just hope the video quality is crystal clear.

van damme fans rejoice --- it's time for some maximum van dammage.

bloodsport is my fav van damme movie of all time. i saw the listing at dvd planet and i'm giddy like a school girl. the extras suck but i ain't expecting anything out of this movie (although a little something on the kumite and frank dux would be very nice).

now where's that bloodsport thread i made a long ass time ago...

John Woo need to release UNCUT version of Hard Target on DVD. That version kicks ass, but sadly we will never see it Only on bootleg vhs.

Sudden Death is lame Die Hard ripoff and Quest is just Bloodsport wanna be

hey, i liked the quest a lot. yeah, it was a bloodsport ripoff, but it was a very pretty movie. the fighting wasn't too bad, either.

sudden death i also liked a lot. the fact that it was like die hard was what made it so cool. it was different from the other van damme movies. also, it's the only van damme movie to ever get two thumbs up from siskel and ebert. i don't know how much that means to people, but i think it's cool.
