Old Sonic Look vs New Sonic Look

I have to concur about the Sonic 2 version of the iconic hedgehog being best. In any event, the new, green-eyed Sonic just elicits feelings of dashed hopes and ill-concieved expectations, so I can't be objective on this. That picture of old Sonic doesn't look too good for some reason, though.

Anyone notice how between parts 1 and 2, Sonic got a little shiny. In the game, that is.

I don't like the version of Sonic which appears in the intro screens of 3 and S&K, but I suspect nobody else does either... Oh yeah: and the beta of Sonic 2 had a cooler intro screen than the final release.

As for getting a tattoo of Sonic. You've gotta remember that even thou you may like it everyone else on earth is going to think your a hella dork and you will probably will never have sex again. Unless your already married to one of those strange wives who doesn't even mind you getting a giant picture of Xena across your chest cos she likes the show too.

Meh, it'll be on my leg, like my other tattoo. Most people I know dont even know I have a tattoo.

As for the sonic thing, it's the original Sonic that is etched into my mind as Sonic. Therefor he will always be my favorite. However, the poly model for Sonic Adventure 2 was awesome. Maybe my favorite in-game Sonic.

I had to vote for the new one. The new version he looks more solid and stong. No way those legs on the old Sonic could allow him to run that fast, they are like tooth picks. Old Sonic is an example of really poor design, that sonic fits better with Neon T-Shirts and Puffy Paint.
