Thread: Treasure Fans

  1. If you can get it cheap, then it's worth a purchase. I love the art (especially the hub level), and it's very unique, but there isn't enough game there to justify paying more than $10 or $15 for it.

  2. It's the best "Tech Demo" I've ever seen on the PS2

I did a review of it, gave it an 8 I think. I must have been high...

  4. i hate stetch panic and mischief makers for that matter. SP first of all, has terrible controls, awkward button placement (though I'm sure you get used to it after a while, it's just not very intuitive), and bottom line, the worst thing about it is that it's completely unfun. Oh, and it's assily short.

Or not? The game came out when only a scant few N64 games were available and Nintendo's big holiday games were Bomberman Hero and Didy Kong Racing. I'm guessing a starved user base fueled sales, even if it is a decent little title.

Got Stretch Panic for $10 new, sits on my shelf til I get a PS2, judging from opinions I'm in no hurry to open it. *-neo

  6. To quote Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier off the "Men on Film" skits: Hated it!

And this coming from someone who enjoyed Mischief Makers. This game is worse than The Lost Planet. It was more fun deleting the memory block required for the game.

  7. I love Stretch Panic, and I never gave a rats ass about Treasure...

I enjoyed it, never beat it though.

I'll get back to it someday... along with all the others.

My wife likes it more than I do. That scribbling effect of the first area ( the black and white room ) just about gave me a damn headache.....

  10. I wouldn't even consider this to be a real "game", more like a tech demo or over blown mini game or something. I wish your character didn't control like a cow, her turning radius and speed were awful.

Oh well, at least I only paid twelve bucks.
