No. Super moves only use your super meter, not your life meter. It takes about 5 seconds to refil your super meter, by the way.![]()
Great comments Ammadeau!
One question, do any of the moves take away your own energy?
I hate it when games punish you for using super moves.

Meh. I just think they're entertaining.Originally posted by Xero_Kaiser
hehe, after I heard the US voices I stopped what I was doing and ran screaming to the options menu![]()
I usually don't mind US dubs....but damn those were bad![]()
Especially the soldier guy in the cg before the Nanman campain. Sounds like a Chinese surfer dude or something.
Well, upon repeated playing, this one is a lot deeper than I initially thought. It may have Final Fight mechanics, but it certainly doesn't have Final Fight level goals! Wandering off and ignoring mission objectives quickly got my entire army killed and left me alone in a sea of enemies. Turns out you actually have to listen to your alies, know where they are, know where you are, plan routes, know where the horses are so you can get to an emergency fast, monitor the battles on the map, etc.... Very, very cool game indeed. I've played the same level 5 times over 5 compleatly different ways.
Play it on hard. Seriously, hard forces you to understand the game in all of its depth to progress through the level. You need to know what you can do, what the enemies can do, how to get the troops on your side to not get wiped out, etc. There's a lot to this game.
Got my second 4th weapon! Woo!

Beating the game on hard unlocks very hard difficulty, which I believe wasn't in the original PS2 version, only the Fierce Warriors upgrade. Haven't done this myself yet though.

I just started whooping ass on normal today. Maybe tomarrow I'll give hard a shot. It did seem kind of unreasonable when my body guard and I were the only two left defending the castle and I still managed to singlehandedly (more or less) wipe out the entire invading force.![]()
Sort of OT, but I had a hysterical experience with Dynasty Warriors 2. Due to the game engine only being able to process so many people on-screen at once, I was bum-rushed my way through a crowd into a doorway and was promptly stopped by an invisible wall. Unable to figure out what was going on, I began slashing away and killed a few enemies. Once I did, about twenty enemy soldiers materialized together instantly in front of me! They had been the invisible wall but the game engine wasn't able to show them!
Aside from that, grand fun. I should pick up part 3 one day.
