The main picture looks like a cropped image that should be in the background of something else... It looks light and out of place. If the picture was bolder and not cut off... It might look nicer. The bar on the right looks like it's just tacked on...

See what I mean... sorta?

Anyone else having trouble getting to Treasure\'s site?

it could be a mock up, us graphic design asses use mock ups just to get the consumer's juices flowing....we've changed packaging a day before prepress in certain instances...so keep hope alive.

if it is not, the saturation could be because of the jpeg compression, and the black bar...well, a whole shot of the art wouldve been nice with the kanji superimposed on top of it. start the Ikaruga package thread...

That art doesn't look too bad aside from the boarder(I hink it should be on the left). I'll look forward to this game, I haven't played much shooters since Cannon Spike.

That cover art is OK, I guess. What the Hell is the huge mechanical thing in the painting? Sure doesn't look like your ship.

The Radiant Silvergun art was similar, but a much more stylish and mysterious image. It also had the big old black title bar, but below the image, not off to one side as Ikaruga does.

Reminds me of a few other Treasure JP covers, like Guardian Heroes. BTW, www.gamefront.de also has this as "the offical cover art" and they show a new Capcom arcade shooter, called Gamshara. Both listed under July 23rd news. *-neo
