Ikaruga [DC, GC, XBLA, PC]

Does anyone know anything about the music? Sakimoto's work in Silvergun added so much to the experience - I hope that trend (even if it is a different composer) continues in Ikaruga.

the music was done by Hiroshi Iuchi..

silvergun's music was really good, and it seems (judging from what i've heard of it) that won't change for ikaruga.. it sounds great.

he also directed the development of the game and designed the background graphics.. impressive!

Dear NCS Customer,

NCS will begin processing preorders for Ikaruga on Monday of next week.
We will break preorders into 30 equal batches so that one batch will be
submitted each day over the next 30 days. Preorders will be processed in
the order they were received. As mentioned before, we are unable to process
the large amount of Ikaruga preorders in one sitting or even within 2 weeks time.
There are simply too many preorders to handle in a short time frame. A month
gives us leeway and time to complete everything for an efficient ship-out of the
game on September 05, 2002.

Yeah, I just got that email too. The dang thing is, the credit card I had at the time the game was reserved just expired, and the bank hasn't sent me a new one yet! I hope there's no trouble from that....

Heh, I had the same problem.

My old credit card expired 5/31/2002. Thankfully, the old May release date never happened, so I simply informed NCS by email that my old card had expired and gave them my new expiration date. Fortunately the number on the new card was identical to the old one.

Provided your CC# is the same, just do what I did and send them an email informing them of the change.

Hey Chibi-Nappa,

I have the same CC situation as you do, and I emailed NCS about it. Here's what they said:

"and if the card number remains the same, you can just email us the new expiration date. If the number is different, please contact us at 718-523-5774 as we do not recommend customers email their cc information."
