  1. Funny marketing quote I noticed on the back of the PS2 Tribes: Arial Assult box...

    "GOODBYE HALO."

I don't know. I just thought it was funny. Especially since I rented it last night and, while it's okay, the game has nothing on Halo.

Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww

  2. And now here come the dumbasses who think its now their place to rip on Halo even though it has nothing to do with the post...

  3. I haven't played it, but I just can't imagine Tribes on PS2. Does it have online playability? Thats the only possible way. Even then, it would seem a bit of a stretch.

  4. Who's being quoted is what I'd like to know.

Of course it has online playability. It's Tribes.

Apparently it doesn't support a keyboard or the Socom headset, which is really stupid. I'd like to know whose brilliant idea it was it to make a game based on cooperative gameplay with no means of communication.

  6. Oh, and I've always liked Atlus' choices for quotes on the back of thier games. They are usually just descriptive of the genre, and don't actually say if the game is good or not.

    "It's a game!" ~ Electronic Gaming Monthly

"Yup, it sure is a game... you can jump too!" ~ Game Informer

    Or there-abouts

  8. Have you seen Tribes printed add, in this month EGM???

Now that is hillarious. Made in the style of airline instructional booklet, and very funny to look at

How close is it to the PC version? I've heard it's been "changed" to be, well, more mindless.

  10. Yuck. Tribes is one of the last games I'd ever want to experience on a pad. The mutliplayer is better than halo's though they are quite different so I'm not really making a direct comparison or anything. So no crying.
