I agree. I liked the game, but if I am going to loose control of a car I want it to feel like I was doing it at 190mph, not 60.
    your mom

  2. So, apparently, its OK to like 'sim' games like Gran Turismo, but when a challenging games comes along, its simply dismissed as frusterating.
The funny part being that F355 is more sim then GT can ever hope to be.

  3. I completely agree with Doug Perry. It may be the most realistic racer ever made, but it simply isn't fun. It's work.

  4. Doug Perry's proven himself to be an idiot many times in the past, why is this a suprise now? This is the guy that recently said you need 120 stars to beat Mario 64, and actually reviewed Mario 64 when it was released

  5. I agree with MVS. Keep your disappointments to yourself, GameCynic.

  6. reminds me of a certain moron that used to work at daily radar before they went under...
don't wanna tangle with you, I'd rather tangle with him.
I think I'm gonna bash his head in...

I'm interested in hearing this, too. The only gripes I had with the DC version were the horrible, horrible music and the lack of a behind-the-car view option. Otherwise, I thought it was an excellent, though frustratingly challenging game.

  8. I wouldn't call the game a chore, but it certainly has a learning curve worth mentioning. I think he has a responsibilty to point that out in a review. Now, if he intentionally criticized the game solely because of it, then I would enroll him in the ass-clown club.
Look out, man, Wooly's gone ape-shit.

  9. The only gripes I had with the DC version were the horrible, horrible music and the lack of a behind-the-car view option.
The latter has been remedied. The former has not. Man oh man has it not. Did the DC rev have the obnoxious radio DJ as well?

The main additions are great driver challenge (very cool) and some unlockable Ferrari pictures and movies.

  10. As a reviewer, isn't it his job to decide whether the game is fun or not? Why should he have to agree with you? He said its a labor of love, so if you love racing sims, you'll labor through it. Not everyone likes the genre, and thats why he said its not for everyone.

Let's face it. SEGA made a game that is downright boring to 99% of human beings.
