Ever one of these switch ads sucks balls, but I can't bad mouth the Hawk one (the hell with Slater), for he is Tony Hawk, and he can do whatever the hell he wants.

Tony Hawk should not do commercials, I only seen him in a bagel bites commercial, i dont see how he could stoop so low, and now doing a apple commercial?

Well, if you ever watched his skate park tour on ESPN2, all those shows are basically put together on a Mac, I believe, so he can endorse them if he wants.

The only thing I like Apple for is thier displays (you can get flat screens for PC but you can't get them as nice as Apple makes them... fortuneatly there is a converter for Apple to PC). I only partially like thier Laptops (since you can't custom build your own laptop).

I think of Apple computers like some wierd alien race of supermodels, while the PC is like the Borg. You will be assimilated! Case and point, there might be something nifty on Mac, but eventually someone will convert it to PC (besides MacOSX, if you want something other than Windows choose Linux... the ultimate Borg utility).

Dont get mad because OSX and iMovie make it easy for average joes to produce professional quality video shorts (it really does - more so than any PC counterpart). Thats the main selling point of the Kelly Slater commercial, and at least the product they produce can back up their claims. There you go.

They may be gay Gappish commercials but they get the point across to average consumers...

I saw a Dell commercial were they are walking through customer support making some boastful statements in regards to their support center, too bad everytime i called Dell for support with my PC i got routed directly to India. I have had my G4 for 6 months now and havent had to call customer support once....nor have i downloaded any patches or made any driver updates, my only complaint is running certain apps in Classic mode is shaky (9.2 does indeed crash-anyone who tells you otherwise is full of shit).

OSX runs circles around XP and 2000, and thus runs circles around any PC, Linux is a different story.
