This list is bullshit - it's nothing more than a popularity contest.

In what way is castlevania inflencial? I think you mist the point of this list. I know PSO isn't really original or influencial either, but since the japanese refuse to acknowledge the existance of American PC gaming, I think they'd just like to beleive that Diablo never existed, and PSO invented the genre.

I find this "survey" severely flawed. I'm pretty sure that any one can take this survey, qualified or not. I think that the number one qualification should be that you have to be old enough to have played many of the game's first in the series, back when it first came out. That's the only way to proper gauge how "influential" they could be. Many kids that never really played games prior to the Playstation probably filled out the survey and it looks more like a popularity contest than anything else.

Just saying that I like PSO better than most games that generate "buzz" here including Castlevania, Sunshine, Ikaruga, GTA, Gungrave... and so on. They're all great but PSO is that much better in my opinion, and deserves it's spot.
