Whats with all this talk of the Twins having great fans? The attendance at Twin's games was the lowest for teams with a record above .500
As a 20-year rabid Angel fan, Saturday was one of my happiest ever, baseball-wise. Donnie Moore can finally be at peace.
I have a feeling they'll make it to the Series, but even if they don't, the Twins doing so will be a ringing slap to Bud Selig's contracting face.
I'd prefer to see the Braves out because I like new teams to get a chance, plus it'd be great if Bonds got a shot at a ring. It would also be great if St. Louis made it (I am a major Daryl Kile fan, RIP).
No matter what, the postseason's really got a lot of character this year. And to think, a couple months ago there was talk of a strike....

This Mets fan couldn't be happier.
Unless, of course, his team didn't totally suck.
I'd like to see the Twins win it all if only to see the look on Selig's face when he has to hand the World Series trophy over to them. Or to see one of the guys on the team, like Hunter or something, refuse to accept it from him. Lord that would be a sight to see!
omg TNL epics!
I don't believe anyone said anything about "great twins fans". I mean, the only time people show up to the games is when they're doing good. Minnesota is really a football state.

Craig Kilborn basically summed it up when he said that Angels fans deserve a world series because some people there have been waiting a whole week for a world series champion.
